Vanishing Girls

Author: Lauren Oliver
Pages: 368
Published by: HarperTeen
Published on: March 10th 2015
New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver delivers a gripping story about two sisters inexorably altered by a terrible accident. Dara and Nick used to be inseparable, but that was before the accident that left Dara's beautiful face scarred and the two sisters totally estranged. When Dara vanishes on her birthday, Nick thinks Dara is just playing around. But another girl, nine-year-old Madeline Snow, has vanished, too, and Nick becomes increasingly convinced that the two disappearances are linked. Now Nick has to find her sister, before it's too late. In this edgy and compelling novel, Lauren Oliver creates a world of intrigue, loss, and suspicion as two sisters search to find themselves, and each other.

What I Have Finished So Far...

  • Timeless
  • Vanishing Girls (<- CURRENTLY READING)
  • Material Girls
  • Everybody Sees the Ants

So this month isn't going as well for me. I tried to start Everybody Sees the Ants but I couldn't get into it. Maybe I will get back into it later. Hopefully I can finish Vanishing Girls and Anna this week!

Life Update!

Well, if you haven't heard, my Kindle button broke. You can see my Seize the Tuesday about it here. It was a sad event but my Kindle is somewhat okay. Hopefully I can get a paperwhite on my birthday so I don't have to worry about damaging my Kindle more! Yay! Also, my sister and I made a friendly wall for our house! It wasn't very friendly to make....ironically.

Somethings happening in the book world:

Well YALLWest was last week. Everyone was having a blast meeting people and eating grill cheese. I was here on the other side of the state crying my heart out. If you want to see some recaps, these are the ones I read. This one, this one, this one, and this one. I know there are a few more but these are the ones that I think really captured the event.

So tell me: How is your month going?
