It's the middle of the month already! Yesterday was Pi day (it was special to because this year it's 3.14.15) and I wanted pie but got none. Isn't that great?!  The month is halfway through so that means we are 15 days closer the end of school! Wooohooo.

All the Bright Places

All the Bright PlacesAuthor: Jennifer Niven
Pages: 388

The Fault in Our Stars meets Eleanor and Park in this exhilarating and heart-wrenching love story about a girl who learns to live from a boy who intends to die.

Soon to be a major motion picture starring Elle Fanning!

Theodore Finch is fascinated by death, and he constantly thinks of ways he might kill himself. But each time, something good, no matter how small, stops him.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister’s recent death.

When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school, it’s unclear who saves whom. And when they pair up on a project to discover the “natural wonders” of their state, both Finch and Violet make more important discoveries: It’s only with Violet that Finch can be himself—a weird, funny, live-out-loud guy who’s not such a freak after all. And it’s only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet’s world grows, Finch’s begins to shrink.

This is an intense, gripping novel perfect for fans of Jay Asher, Rainbow Rowell, John Green, Gayle Forman, and Jenny Downham from a talented new voice in YA, Jennifer Niven.

What I have finished reading so far...

  • Since You've Been Gone
  • The Glass Magician
  • Ruin and Rising
  • Under a Painted Sky
  • Invaded
  • Hidden Girl
  • All the Bright Places
  • Love, Lucy (<- This one is new)
So I guess I am going at a good pace? Hidden Girl isn't very long and there is a chance I won't be reading Under a Painted Sky this month. *tear*

Life Update

We are doing some home renovations! On Friday, we got about 70, I want to say, boxes of hardwood floor panels. (It was actually around 104 boxes) Yup, my dad is planning to stick hardwood in our floors. Guys, it smells like cardboard. Each box is also super heavy. We aren't sure whether we want to put hardwood into my sister and I's room but I don't mind the carpet.
This is only about 1/3 of the boxes o.o

Somethings happening in the book world:

There have been a lot of more cover reveals and very anticipated books have finally been released! Egmont publishing company is closing down so that leaves some authors publishing house-less. The movie poster for Paper Towns (I think) was released this month. So that's good. I don't think i'm planning to see it though.

So tell me: How is your month going?
